Ranger Skillsin Pre-Searing - Guild Wars Forums

Hey, I've been looking around for ages but I can't seem to find the skills Ignite Arrow and Dual Shot! Argh! Where can I learn these skills at? Ranger Nente has told me about some guy named Marksman Ivor on a high peak in the east of Regent Valley but I have searched up and down and not seen him

Hey, what you need to do is from where MRN tells you to go, if you're facing away from the portal from where you came, go to the right, I believe. He's up there on top of a few hills, just keep running around and hold down ALT the whole time, you'll find him eventually. I can't check for you though, b/c I'm in seared Ascalon. Good luck!

He is hard to find. From the Master Ranger Go ...south? Through the twisty-turny road with the devourers. Curve back east and just before the bridge vear right and up the hill that looks like it isn't navigable.

Marksman Ivor is in Regent Valley, follow the road past where the Stalkers are, over the bridge, and immediately up the hill in front of you...look left when you get on top of the ridge. You should see Ivor, or the collector that is there as well.

Adain gives Dual Shot and Ignite Arrows. He is in Wizard's Folly, zone in from Regent Valley, and follow the river/road west. You will come to a small fishing village, cross the river here to the south and continue through the woods a short way, and you should see him. He asks you to kill aloe seeds for an aloe root...be careful as these add horribly and could overwhelm your ability to heal yourself.

Not really. Rangers are supposed to be expert trackers and such. If you can't find Ivor Trueshot from the description Nente gives, perhaps this really isn't the profession for you. City-boys who can't find anything without a signpost should stick to mesmers.

But seriously, the easiest way to get to Ivor Trueshot is NOT to go down the path that goes by Melandru's statue, that's taking the long way around. Head back northeast from Nente, returning almost to the entry-point from Lakeside County. Now, head east over the little hump and get on the road heading east. Just before you come to the first bridge, look up on top of the big hill on the south side of the road. There he is.

There are (only) 3 ranger-trainers in Ascalon (Pre-Searing), right? Is this the same for monks, mesmers etc?

You should now try right and left

Anyway, marksman Ivor can be found directly east of ranger nente.

If i am correct, he is in the same map( area) as nente.

I'm having a heck of time finding this.. I've been all over that aera and I can't seem to find the FIshing Village even....
